Eleventh Monthly Hymn, to the Daemons
To the holy daemons near, our song we raise,
And to the deathless ones, receiving divine praise.
In service to the gods more divine, they excel,
Bestowing numerous blessings on us dwell.
They disperse the gifts from Jove's celestial hand,
Through other gods, descending to our mortal land.
In purifying grace, they save and tend,
Elevating, protecting, minds they gently mend.
Some cleanse, while others lift us higher,
Their influence, a benevolent pyre.
In their care, our minds find ease,
Oh, daemons, be kind, and with mercy please.
